By the way, it&#8217;s quite possible your building your foundation by doing nothing at all.&nbsp; I want you to be honest, ask yourself, why are you &#8220;at&#8221; where you&#8217;re at?&nbsp; It doesn&#8217;t make you bad, evil or wrong, but it&#8217;s important to be authentic with yourself so we can start making steps to creating a strong foundation.&nbsp;&nbsp; </DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV> <DIV> <DIV> <DIV> <DIV><EM></EM> <DIV> <DIV> <DIV> <DIV> <P align=center><STRONG></STRONG></P> <DIV class=red align=center> <P><B><FONT size=4><BR></FONT></B></P></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV> <DIV class=gmail_quote></DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV></DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></BODY></HTML></p>

<div class="textwidget"><em>&#8220;All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never cast out. <strong>38</strong> For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will but the will of Him Who sent Me. <strong>39</strong> And this is the will of Him Who sent Me, that I should lose nothing of all that He has given Me, but raise it up on the last day.&#8221;</em> <strong>John 6:37–39</strong> (ESV)</div>

</div>
<div><em></em></div>
<div><em></em></div>
<div>I think for the most part Christians want to do God&#8217;s will. I don&#8217;t think any Christian says, &#8220;Today I am going to actively, with DESIRE, passionately go against God&#8211;although I am a Christian. I think we have days where we don&#8217;t feel like following. I think we have days where we say, &#8220;Not today God.&#8221; But for the most part, I don&#8217;t think any of us Christians passionately, desire to go against God in the deep of our heart as a normal daily part of our lives. We might say it out of anger or emotion. But we come around from that. It&#8217;s important to know that Jesus had a desire to follow God on the outside with His actions, but innately (internally) Jesus had a desire to follow God on the inside as well. Let me tell you what I mean by that. Much of the time in our Christian walk, we know what we &#8220;need to do&#8221; or &#8220;should do.&#8221; Externally this is important because we want to follow Jesus. But sometimes we have to be reminded that we should strive to feel internally motivated in our hearts to follow Jesus as well. If we just follow Jesus because we know we &#8220;need to&#8221; or &#8220;should&#8221; it can create a heart of religiousness not relationship. Also, I want you all to take note&#8211;sometimes we spend much of our time trying to figure out what God wants us to do. &#8220;God should I go to this college?&#8221; &#8220;Lord should I think about joining this club?&#8221; &#8220;God should I move to this company that pays more?&#8221; Man, sometimes we go round and round and round before we ever make a decision. Know that God puts internal desires on your heart to. That&#8217;s part of His way of telling you, Yes! Go for it! As long as you&#8217;re not hurting someone or yourself, breaking the law, putting something before God, or making that opportunity into a god&#8211;then it&#8217;s probably a safe bet God is okay with you going for it. We sometimes fight that inner desire because we might have it in our heads that God doesn&#8217;t want us to have happy opportunities or fun aspects of our life. If you aren&#8217;t too sure about it, ask an accountability partner or seek Godly-counsel from other followers around you. Jesus felt both the call to follow God externally and internally&#8211;do you have a good balance of that in your life right now? What can you do to maintain balance or what can you do to even out to make a balance? Blessings, Paul</div>

<div><em>&#8220;Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, <strong>7</strong> rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.&#8221; (<strong>Colossians 2:6 &amp; 7</strong> ESV) </em></div>
<div>Jesus is completely sovereign over us. It&#8217;s by God&#8217;s promise that we can be assured of our salvation. But there is an idea that the Apostle Paul brings up, that although we are assured by God&#8217;s promise, the story does not end there. We must make a conscious choice to &#8220;walk in Him&#8221;</div>
<div>Most of you have a great family doctor you see if you get sick. By your physicians assurance&#8211; you know that she/or he will take good care of you if you stop by their office for a visit. But imagine if you didn&#8217;t take any of the advice of your physicians. When problems arise, sure you could go back to your physicians and she/or he will take care of you, but you also must do your part in that commit to follow their advice. Much in the same we must do this with God. Some of us are more practical, others of us are more emotional, we all connect with God in different ways because of our unique make up, but we must be reminded that at our foundation, that &#8220;make up&#8221; must equate to &#8220;Walking with Him&#8212;ROOTED and BUILT up in JESUS and established in the FAITH&#8221; Are you rooted and built up in Jesus? Are you choosing to walk Him?</div>

<div class="textwidget"><em>&#8220;Since then we have a great high priest Who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One Who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (<strong>Hebrews 4:14–16</strong> ESV)&#8221;</em></div>
<div class="textwidget"></div>
<div class="textwidget">My friend Rick is a genius. He&#8217;s the kind of genius you love because he&#8217;s a good guy, and he&#8217;s not arrogant about his smarts and he works hard. Some folks are smart, they don&#8217;t have to work hard, and they still get the &#8220;A&#8221; or the promotion that the rest of us are striving for&#8211;we tend to not like those people. Rick is not one of those folks. He&#8217;s humble, intelligent and is a team player. One of my favorite character traits about him was he wasn&#8217;t afraid to show his struggles. If a project was hard he would say so. Even though he was this incredibly intelligent guy, he could still relate to everyone else (those of us who were not as bright as him) and we could surely relate to him. Rick went to get his MBA at Texas. He told me how it was hard to listen to his professors teach about &#8220;this business world&#8221; because none of these folks were in the industry&#8211;some of these professors worked in the industry for a short period of time, but mostly at lower levels of companies. Some professors only knew the &#8220;industry&#8221; from an academic or research level. In that way the professors couldn&#8217;t even relate. Sometimes it honestly doesn&#8217;t make a difference to me if I can &#8220;relate&#8221; to Jesus because He went through the same hard points in life as I did. Most of the times I feel that way because I don&#8217;t really stop to reflect on what it means to have a Savior that can relate to me. When I stop and really think about it. For some reason it begins to matter much more to my Faith. How does it matter to you?

<div class="textwidget">This week we embark on Holy Week, Good Friday and Easter &#8212; this year, we have really focused our time though, on the days leading up to Easter. Many in the Christian Evangelical world, recognize Easter, but fail to emphasize the days leading up to Easter in the same light. This week feverously pray, reflect and meditate on the readings above. What do they mean to you? Perhaps this week you are experiencing difficulties, burden, or hardship&#8230;continue to pray. Continue to ask and continue to lift Him up until He answers. Think about what it looks like to be saved now, in the present. The Kingdom of God is now. Amen.</div>

<div>As a Christian, we are all called to being a leader. Some of you lead silently. Some of you lead by means of getting administrative tasks completed. Some of you lead by inspiring people. Whatever the way you lead, you must view your leadership as being a servant to God and to His children. Why is this important to reflect upon? Many times we can lead, but we are really just leading because it feeds our pride. Or perhaps we lead in a way that allows circumstances to be the way we like them to be. Be reminded this week, that you are a servant. Say Hi to people you don&#8217;t normally say Hi to at school or at church. Ask if someone needs help. Be a team player and support the folks who need your help, teacher, church members, etc. Blessings,Paul</div>

<div>
<div class="textwidget">&#8220;If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be My disciples.&#8221; (John 15:7 &amp; 8 ESV)</div>
<div class="textwidget">by Paul W.</div>
<div class="textwidget">The message I want all of us to be reminded of is that God is <em>FOR YOU </em>and not against you. It&#8217;s true that we will and are currently undergoing trial, but God did not take a vacation on you. Everything about this Lent season serves as a reminder of what God demonstrated to us on the cross. Be encouraged and reminded that you are cared for. Many times when we work under the impression that we are not cared for, we say to ourselves, &#8220;What do we matter anyways?&#8221; or &#8220;What do my actions matter anyways?&#8221; That&#8217;s a trap that offers no hope. Remember, you matter. Be encouraged to know that Jesus is there with you even if you don&#8217;t feel it. Blessings, Paul</div>
